SUSAN NEWHOUSE

PRINCIPAL | SUSAN NEWHOUSE & ASSOCIATES, LLC

A dynamic facilitator and instructor, Susan harnesses the power of human connection to inspire individuals and organizations to make change.

She brings almost 20 years’ experience helping clients solve their most complex challenges. As Chief Strategic Facilitation Officer and Senior Vice President of Qualitative Innovation at Kantar, Susan led hundreds of cutting-edge innovation sessions for Fortune 500 Companies and developed a creative facilitation training program which she delivered around the globe. She was also a Lab Lead in the Deloitte Greenhouse, where she facilitated strategic conversations for clients, engaging them intellectually, physically and emotionally so they could take problem-solving to a new level. 

Susan earned her BA in Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, studied improv at Josephine Forsberg’s Players Workshop in Chicago, and has received certifications in Strategic Storytelling with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Methods and FourSight™ Creative Thinking System, as well as the Credentialed Coach Pathway through InviteChange. 

A member of the Creative Education Foundation since 2002, Susan is a core faculty member of the Creative Problem Solving Institute, and has also taught at EPIC International Summit, Florida Creativity Weekend, and ACRE/EDU in South Africa.
