Covid-19 has taken countless innocent lives and the collective trauma it has caused will take generations to process. This pandemic was caused by the extreme exploitation of animals. Time and time again, the people who are most adversely affected by humanitarian crises are women, particularly women of colour, all around the world. The quickest and simplest way of dismantling this lucrative industry is to radically reduce the global demand for animal products. And that means going vegan.
