Lianna Levine Reisner

Lianna Levine Reisner, MSPOD, is a collaborative change specialist with a passion for building thriving, multicultural organizations and communities. She serves a dual role as Plant Powered Metro New York's Board President and Network Director. Lianna has served in management, fundraising, and grantmaking roles in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. Working as an independent consultant through her practice Partner for Change, she most recently served as a member of UJA-Federation of New York's Community LAB Coaching Network (formerly the SYNERGY Coaching Network), providing organizational change support to Jewish nonprofit organizations in the New York metropolitan area. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of Manhattan's historic Congregation Shaare Zedek. Lianna has a Master's degree from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management in Positive Organization Development and Change, as well as certificates in Emotional Intelligence, Appreciative Inquiry, and Building Sustainable Enterprises. She also holds a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. She lives in the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

Kylie Buckner, MSN RN, and yoga teacher, is a lifestyle transition specialist. She spent over 18 years working in women’s health (OBGYN, Labor and Delivery, NICU, and pediatrics) and now works as the Director of Lifestyle Change for Mastering Diabetes. Mastering Diabetes is an online coaching platform to teach people with all forms of diabetes how to reverse insulin resistance- the leading cause of blood glucose variability. She works directly with clients living with T1, T1.5, T2, prediabetes, and gestational diabetes to help them achieve their best metabolic health utilizing the tools in the Mastering Diabetes Method. Using the evidence-based principles of Lifestyle Medicine, the tools in the method include adopting a low-fat, plant-based, whole-food diet, strategically adding intermittent fasting, exercise, and mindfulness techniques to improve health outcomes, reduce long term health risks, and overall quality of life for people living with diabetes. She works side by side with her husband and Mastering Diabetes Co-Founder, Cyrus Khambatta, PhD, who has been living with T1 diabetes for almost 20 years.
